They must be tinned or lacquered  steel or something similar.

The can print is some sort of lacquer that you can solder through=20
without having to remove.

I make little screened boxes for circuit modules. Or screening between=20
sections. Easily cut with scissors after you have converted can to flat=20
sheet.

Lidl own brand "Bellarom Caff=E9  Espresso  100% Arabica" 200g tin
I like the coffee too, filtered, cafetiere, Expresso or the little 2=20
piece gadget. Or even "mud style".
