I cut coffee cans to make sheets to solder little screened boxes for=20
electronics.

A stanley or other similar heavy duty craft knife cuts a can easily. I=20
don't know if the distortion is too much. But if a tin-opener removed=20
the lid you could have a grooved/slotted wooden form go inside can and=20
set it in a wooden jig and quickly cut can with knife accurately without=20
distortion.
