Evening all, I am enjoying Kicad - so far so good. I thought I would start changing the libraries a bit to standardise things. Anyway, I got around to the power net symbol and it is of the "small=20 line with a circle" type. I usually use the T shaped version. This got=20 me wondering what was what standard wise. I opened my copy of ANSI IEEE Std 315 (1975) and I couldn't find any=20 guide for such a symbol, though there is one for e.g. a ground circuit=20 return. A quick glance on the net didn't bring much up either, lots of=20 tables with everything but power net symbols. It's no big deal, but I would like to conform to a standard as much as=20 possible, as far as reference designators and symbols go. So - what is the standard symbol for a power net? or what do people prefer? --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
