Fuel economy is a big selling point. Technology is already in the
small-ish engine arena. As time goes by, fuel management and more
sophisticated ignition systems will get into smaller and smaller
engines. So there will be benefits to fuel efficiency as well as
emissions, maintenance, longevity.
