The make "fin combs" with various widths between the slots. You should be = able to find one at AutoZone, Advance Auto, or any other of the major auto parts stores. You may also be able to find one at Home Depot, Lowes or Ace Hardw= are. I have used them over the years and, if you take the proper care, they work great. The combs are made out of nylon or some other type of polymer which works with aluminum or copper fins.
