Sounds like you had a rough ride - I've stayed in and driven round Leeds=20 so I have a rough idea of how it can be at times. Maybe you would have been better off sending the 6k to the examiner :-) This all reminded me of my first driving tutor (from the mighty AA of=20 all places) The guy was a real mess, I felt sorry for him. Looked like he had the=20 weight of two worlds on his shoulders. I remember thinking he was always=20 looking tired, but thought maybe that was just his "look". What confirmed my suspicions of him being terribly overworked was when=20 during one lesson, I was driving down a pretty busy dual carriageway,=20 took about 2 or 3 minutes. I was nearing the end and I asked "which way=20 shall I turn at the junction?".. no answer .."which way shall I.." I=20 glanced to the side and the poor guy was fast asleep!! Really. :-)) I remember just driving around for about ten minutes, and he eventually=20 came round. So as not to embarrass him I didn't mention anything. I=20 think he thought he had only dropped off for a second or two and I=20 didn't notice. Anyway I finished the lessons with him, took my test and (somehow)=20 passed... then.. ..got banned 3 months later when, after a few pints, I=20 decided I didn't want to leave my car outside the pub for the night so=20 I'd just "pop it round the corner", literally 10 or so yards. I remember=20 saying to my friend "it'd be just my luck if the police turned up now..." Oh well, you live and learn.. :-) --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
