I have a Lowrance I-finder C (Color) with built in compass. When walking=20 the compass is very good after being calibrated, But put the unit in a=20 vehicle, and calibrate in the vehicle, and the compass may be off more=20 than 30 degrees. We have not had issues with magnetic needle compasses=20 in the vehicles. I guess what I'm saying, the electronic compass may not=20 be accurate in a vehicle.
