(Briefcase is still there, Car parked close to main entrance). Put the small amount of shopping in car (Fiat 127) Go back into Shopping Mall (large by Dublin standards of the Day, by US=20 standards a Mini-mall) Buy car battery. leave mall Car gone! Spot car now at far corner of car park (about as far away as you could=20 see an old Fiat 127). go to car and push on collar type connectors as best as can with no tools. Shopping and briefcase intact. Drive home. Family don't believe story, but admit that's new battery and=20 connectors loose. Anyone that knows Dublin will appreciate that at "Nutgrove shopping=20 centre" Ballinteer, near Dundrum, that this is not plausible as the=20 shopping and briefcase would have been gone, and possibly the car too. I'd never have bought a Fiat 127, but when I sold a VW transporter the=20 guy said AFTER paying me (and I had given him his "luck penny" back,=20 likely =A35 in those days)... "You'll be needing to get something else. I'll make you a present of=20 that Fiat 127 there to keep you going till you find it," There are other stories about this car, but this is not the place. Also=20 I will never accept a free Fiat again, I did 3 or 4 years later accept a=20 free Capri and then later a free Peugot 505 Diesel Estate. Nothing bad=20 happened with Capri but the though Peugot 505 engine seized a man up=20 the street had a crashed 505 salon and sold it me =A350 to get it off the=20 road as he had no driveway. --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
