I've had good experience with WD. Not that they don't fail, but the 3 year = warranty is=20 peace of mind. Just returned a 1TB drive (nearly 2 years old) to my supplie= r - it had=20 constant repetitive sounding activity when it shouldn't have had any activi= ty, which I=20 took as a sign of internal problems and possible imminent failure.
