Most modern 9V alkaline batteries (Duracell, Procell, etc) contain 6-=20
AAAA cells with welded interconnections.  I often disassemble these=20
batteries to supply my dad with the AAAA batteries that he needs for=20
a particular fibre-optic inspection tool that he uses.
