I've been seeing weird connector footprints in open source hardware =20 designs (ie from "Sparkfun"), and I thought they had gone off and =20 found a great deal on some not-quite-standard connector from an odd =20 supplier or something. Not so! Apparently this is an intentional "manufacturing aid" for =20 standard headers.
