That is probably because I was not asking anything, and do not want=20 anything at the moment. It was more of an intro, with some commentary=20 on the DSO kit. > I don't know anything about the scope you mentioned. A link to my website is in my sig, but was not in the=20 content of the post, so I don't know why you are drawing conclusions as=20 to my expectations WRT the scope. I picked up the used Tektronix 453 as=20 a hobbyist when working full time in the eighties for $400. Now that=20 I'm looking for work, $400 - $1000 is real money. The little $50=20 jyetech scope will be fine for things like 9600 baud communications=20 monitoring, better than the Tektronix, as it has storage to catch=20 non-repetitive events. If I need more channels, delayed sweep, better=20 triggering options, etc, I'll research that when the time comes. A 30=20 MHz digital Instek is on ebay right now for "as is" ~ $150, but shipping=20 to US is $150. --=20 Joe Wronski Stillwater Embedded Engineering www.stillwatereng.net --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
