Low end digital scopes are quite cheap nowadays. A few years ago w= e got a few Instek GDS-806S scopes. I vaguely remember they were in the $600-$800 range, certainly well under $1000 each. They're not great scopes= , but will do for 98% of PIC work. That was a few years ago, so there are probably better more features for less money available today.
