All,

 I just read that ELEMENT 14 is a rebranding of Newark electronics.  It
is actually a merge between Newark=20
 and it's british parent Premier Farnell and the Element14 e-Commerce
and social media platform.
 The goal is "mix Newarks 77 year distribution history with a cuttin
edge online environment"

 The full news release is in the May 26th edition of Design News
