Actually I think not. In some professions I believe it is actually a hinderance. Sometimes it's a advantage to think only of the higher levels and not get caught up in details. That's completely your call, but I, and I think others to varying degrees will consider the consider the hassle level and other criteria when decidin= g if and how much to reply.
