Even though the radios are= =20 operating in the free ISM band they must be certified and tested for=20 compliance. I don't know about the Nordic products but I could not find any certificate= for=20 them. If you look at the Microchip module MRF24J40MA, for example, it has a=20 regulatory approval for modular devices int the US, Canada and Europe which= =20 means that you can use it and not have to do any further radio certificatio= n=20 tests (you still have to do the standard regulatory tests for the end produ= ct=20 though, just as usual). You have to use a module with integrated driver and antenna to be able to u= se a=20 precertified product. /Ruben =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Ruben J=F6nsson AB Liros Electronic Box 9124, 200 39 Malm=F6, Sweden TEL INT +46 40142078 FAX INT +46 40947388 ruben@pp.sbbs.se =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
