Currently, LED based projectors aren't pretty dim, and are confined to =20
relatively small projected images.  Non-LED projectors still aren't =20
bright enough for daylight viewing, and have horribly expensive lamps =20
with short lifetimes (compared to "always on" sorts of applications.)  =20
(You might wonder that it never caught on to project film onto =20
billboards, even though that size of image was pretty "standard" =20
technology.)
