Hi all,

I have a few 74HC240N (3 state, inverting octal buffer) and similar chips,
as well as a MAX3070E (RS232 to TTL signal converter) in my design. Do I
need to put 0.1uF bypass capacitors from Vin to GND near each of these
chips? What would happen if I don't?

I know I probably should, but somehow, I'm 1000/1000 pins max on my license
of Diptrace and I can't place another pin, and it's becoming a pain in the
ass to add these capacitors.
