Also 220nF is very low for Vusb. I think it was the lowest allowed in some early documentation and may even be below spec now. Why cu= t it so close? Leaving some margin is good engineering practise, especially when there is no down side as in this case. I use 1uF for this. Some earl= y documentation may have given the impression this is too much, but I have explicit information from Microchip that it is not only fine, but a good idea. > sorry didn't mention that.
