So?  Yes, the energy turned into electricity by a hydro power plant
ultimately is traced back to the sun, but that's not terribly relevant.
Unless you are trying to mislead people and call is "solar energy", how is
this useful?  If you go that route than fossil fuels are solar energy too.
You can make a case for that, but again, it's not a useful distinction.
