Just getting your two eyes to match will do wonders. And since you have young eyes, you can focus both near and far. As you age, your eyes lose the range of focus. So that's why I have a different correction for my work-week, which is mostly indoors, and weekend, when I am outside as much as possible. My work correction is good enough to drive, but gives me great close-up vision. The weekend prescription lets me count the craters on the moon. I can also pop on dollar-store reading glasses if I want to solder 0402 resistors. Once more, getting your two eyes to match will reduce your eyestrain dramatically.
