And, dealing with it is extremely hard. What works wonders for some people (Adderall, Omega 3, ...) may have essentially zero benefit for others. DSM 4 has an ADHD checklist. If you tick all the boxes in either of the two topmost categories then you will fit the generic ADHD picture well enough to be sure that,. whether it is real or not, you have it.
