Does having OT hurt PIC and EE discussions. I think yes, but of course that is impossible to prove. The facts show a decline in the PIClist and OT being created. We can only speculate on cause and effect. I do notice that while the admins try to keep PIC and EE clean, nobody is paying attention to the equally damaging PIC and EE topics misposted in OT by lazy people. That forces people to make a choice about whether to miss out on some legitimate list discussions or open the floodgates to lots of off topic banter with some legitimate discussion mixed in. It seems to be that just the existance of OT encourages, probably guaratees, this. > Also, please note that this does not have anything to do > with the discussion at hand. The discussion at hand is now about the PIClist and topics, although that i= s not the original topic of this thread. I don't care about the original topic and only responded to someone talking about PIClist issues. Somewher= e along the line the subject probably should have been changed, but since you didn't in the message I am replying to I'm not going to bother either. Hey= , it's OT so anything goes, right? ******************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, http://www.embedinc.com/products (978) 742-9014.
