Where are you buying > cards? As far as I know, the Microchip code does not currently support them. But regular SD cards are going the way of the dinosaur, so eventually the code will be rewritten. Arduino SD card libraries are available for both types. Office Depot does "deliver to store" of the Kingston 2GB SD cards at $5.95 apiece. And they had some in store for $7, I forget what brand, a month ago. I have been hoarding them, but only when I see a great deal, just for personal use. And neither of those prices is attractive enough.
