On checking the datasheet though there=20 is nothing. That's our problem - I thought of doing just what you mention above, but=20 the board will have components on both sides. I have seen quite a few=20 boards (e.g. MC graphics dev boards - the link I posted previously) that=20 seem to mount directly on top of components (I am assuming they must, as=20 the display covers the entire board on a couple) I would like to know=20 how they do this (preferably without buying one for =A3100 just to have a=20 look :-) ) and how "professional" it is. It's not really a big deal to mount a platform a little bit above the=20 board (the design has a few boards stacked anyway to save space) but I=20 am curious about how it's done on the boards I have mentioned, and=20 DisplayTech's advice to use adhesive pads. Any simplifying of=20 parts/assembly is always a good thing. I will ask DisplayTech for some more advice - I was hoping they had some=20 mounting accessories, but it didn't look that way when I looked on the=20 US site (HK site is currently down) > Regards, > Brendan > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ > > iEYEARECAAYFAk2723oACgkQHEhZ5Ws5poFDlQCggcEACyHIQgPj3y2QPinGNqPA > Rz8AniZl+95K90V2gpzrMeVwiKbx3PON > =3DvXdx > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
