There's nothing else in the circuit - it's entirely as i described. My firs=
t
step was to try to get ICD3 and the 12f629 talking together, after that i
want to proceed with my program and attached hardware.

It's quite frustrating cos all i wanted was a quick oscillator outputting a
2Hz and 1.5Hz square waves. I thought this would be quick and easy with a
pic!!!!
