It irks me when the term friend is used loosely. Many people I feel, get=20
the adjective confused with the noun much like getting ensure confused with=

insure.

So being friendly towards or to someone, is not the same as being an actual=

personal friend. We diminish the meaning by being lazy, much like=20
carelessly using a little four letter word beginning with 'l' with abandon=
=20
(Well, it'd be 'A' in latin languages and is 'E' in some germanic ones.

Of course some people who 'know' me would quake at my apparent hypocrisy in=

the use of the word.=20
