> I know Joe had some issues with the EA character display To be fair, the issue was with the documentation and the EA seat warmer I corresponded with. I've not used the display for any length of time of course and can't vouch for its long-term physical quality. It's probably OK Whilst searching for answers for the 16 x 2, I did see some similar "can't get it working" queries raised about the EA graphic displays too, but solutions (again at odds with the documentation) were offered=20 It leaves a nagging uncertainty about the products. If they didn't get the instructions right, what else might be iffy ? But that's not just picking on EA. Any product is going to be less well thought of than it could have been if the people behind it don't present it properly For example, how would you feel about Microchip silicon if they got a datasheet hopelessly wrong ? And defended it ?=20 Joe --=20 http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
