Has anyone had any experience with Newhaven or the DOG (EA) displays?

Any good/bad points I should know about?
I know Joe had some issues with the EA character display, and I'm sure I=20
remember someone hear complaining about Newhaven.

As Harold mentioned, an nice easy interface and half decent datasheet=20
would be preferable, my experience of displays makes me think this is=20
the exception rather than the rule :-)
