I wasn't referring to the now discredited UK specialist's utterances, but=20
to a group of universities in the US and (I think) Sweden who are=20
researching how Autism occurs. So far the only thing they've actually=20
noticed is that the amygdala grows to full size before its time in Autism=20
suffers, the research is trying to pinpoint whether there are external=20
influences which alter the gut bacteria which in turn switch on/off various=
=20
other mechanisms. Whilst there is no proof on the vaccination subject no=20
one has yet researched into whether the child subsets have an increased=20
risk, mainly because of the difficulty of determining the subsets in the=20
first place

I believe the Jim Lehrer News Hour is running a series of documentaries on=
=20
Autism research including the gut versus brain development area.
