I live in Amersfoort, but monday I will be in Utrecht for lessons.

Assuming you go by train: take a walk down the 'langegracht'? (from the=20
centre to the east)

By car: there are better places to take a car break, like Singer museum=20
(Laren) or Kr=F6ller-M=FCller Museum (Hoge Veluwe). The smaller towns=20
(Delft, Leiden, Naarden, Haarlem, Kampen, etc) tend to have a better=20
preserved history than the large towns (maybe exept Amsterdam).
