A big favourite of British blues players of the 60s and 70s (Alice
Cooper's original guitarist Glen Buxton was pretty damn good
too - Killer, Billion Dollar Babies album). Beautiful open sound

Best proponent probably Gary Moore. Check out the Emerald
Aisles DVD. Sustain and tone that goes on forever. Some clip
links here, and wringing the very soul out of a Strat
