As for why, because it's much easier to read than having to scroll down to = read a reply. I know of no email client that opens emails and automatically scrolls to the end of them. Also= because replies are often cut off of some programs on some devices that only show the first X characters of a= message. My iPhone is like that. On those devices, you don't "get" to see the reply at all (depending = how you get the message). Those are the technical reasons who top posting is better. That said, I also don't agree that any medium should have a hard rule about= posting, spelling, or grammar. For those who don't like how others post, well, not everyone will like ever= ything everyone else does - such is life. Many times I open an email, and if I don't see a reply, I hit the delete bu= tton. That's my personal choice. Joe M.
