You can arrange inexpensive flights within and to/from Malaysia on Air Asia. If you want to= try to find a photogenic kampong, the East coast might be more conducive.=20 ISTR a lot of rubber plantations on the road trip from Johore Bahru to KL. If you've not done this before, you'll find SE Asia a snap to get around in compared to China. Public transit is decent.. I've not tried driving there, but the roads are generally good.
