The wind speed topic reminded me on another weather station related
topic, that of a low cost barometric sensor.

I've seen a few such as

Has anyone interfaced with these, pros-cons of any of them?  The
Freescale device has decent pricing and the interface is standard but
the package makes it a little fun for prototyping with.  HopeRF has the
better package but I haven't found anything that comes off stellar in
the interface and functionality.

Something like the SHT71 sensor would be nice, its interface is straight
forward.
