Speaking from my own motivations for the LPKF, one of the issues is =20 that as a hobbyist I didn't have a lot of confidence in my ability to =20 design a board that would work. So it wasn't so much a matter of =20 sending off $50 for more boards than I could use, it was also the =20 conviction that those boards wouldn't work, and so I'd have to do it =20 again! Probably several times. And then there's the "urge to tweak." Having immediate turnaround =20 lets you fiddle with a board design until it's not just working, but =20 "perfect."
