You may want to look at the PIC24FV family of chips that has just had the d=
atasheet issued, the FV version runs of 2.5-5.5V (the F version is 1.8-3.6V=
 IIRC) and they have a 12 bit ADC. Some versions come in 20 pin package, DI=
P, SOIC or SSOP.
