There are generally two kinds of 'clear plastic' sheets out there. The kind used for overhead transparencies, which have an absolutely=20 glossy surface, and which WILL melt and destroy your printer, and those that are made of acetate, and which are a bit smoky and have a=20 very fine texture surface for the toner to grab on to. If in doubt, put a soldering iron to them. The dangerous plastic will=20 melt nearly instantly, and stink, the 'laser' grade will curl but you'll=20 have to apply a fair bit of heat to melt into them. If in doubt, don't use them. R Ing.
