Never mind, it was on our end.  Something apparently reset a bunch of state
on the mail machine yesterday morning.  Our internal SMTP and POP3 servers
continued to function, but the outgoing SMTP server forgot its license and =
a
bunch of other settings.  Outgoing mail was getting stuck in a queue betwee=
n
the internal and outgoing servers.  All those messages have now been
released and sent on in one lump a few minutes ago.
