Hi all, Thinking of picking up a used IBM 7545 SCARA robot, in relatively =20 unknown working condition. Seller says that it was removed from a =20 working environment, but he has not actually run it, and it does not =20 come with software, etc. Anyone familiar with the basics of these? I've not found much docs on =20 the robot itself, and have found basic info that the motors are servo =20 motors with encoders, with Yaskawa ServoPack servo-motor drivers/amps. =20 Outside of that, I've not yet determined the basic operation of this =20 robot. My hope if that if I can at least get the servo drivers and motors =20 working, I can build my own controller for it. Anyone here know how =20 these operate, or have links to docs, or perhaps other =20 thoughts/info/advice?
