Not wishing to suggest brotherly dissension, really, but I'd be uncertain as to the distinction between "can build at home ..." and "has built at home ..." being implicit in a decision whether this belongs in OT or EE. In my case it would fall in the "would love to build at home but there are too many such things in the same class ..." categhory. I'd almost see it at home in TECH except that you CAN build it at home. I'd feel sad (and ...?) if such a useful, fascinating and very engineering oriented device really belonged on OT.
