It seems the $200 Makergear is just the hot end -- the extruder. That =20 link says it's mounted on a "Repstrap", which is a homebrew 3D printer. FWIW, my high-schoolers are currently working on our own extruder, and =20 hopefull we'll finish our 3D printer soon. Cheers, -Neil.
