I've dealt with 3 companies who use "commercial" PCB packages in-
house and have Eagle either installed or have working knowledge of it

Two confirm designs by email using GC Preview (Google) to show
that Eagle's Gerbers are as correct as anybody else's

Never had a board rejected because they are complete grand-dads.
I suspect that RCS would not be so one-eyed and ranting if they did
not have the licences for all those magazine boards

It puts me off giving them business. I've known people like that and
they tend to be staid, inflexible and grumpy about everything
