Hello all, I normally use a twisted pair from cat5 cable (or the whole=20 cable, 2 wires for signal and 1 or 2 for ground as per DMX spec) for=20 rs485 stuff, but I'd like to get some cable ideal for rs485 with 120ohm=20 termination. I need to run some short (3-4 foot run) that has to be=20 near power cables with 20+ amps on them. And, I get asked by customers=20 about cabling for DMX, and I'd like to have a pointer to "the best" to=20 give them. Various combinations of individual pair-shield and overall-shield=20 options exist in cat5e/cat6/cat6e but I'd prefer something that is only=20 a single pair. Right now this: is my top pick. Opinions? If using only 1 pair of a cat6 cable is "the standard way", please let=20 me know. Thanks. I'm in the USA.
