With wasted spark, you should see the same amount of pulses. All it =20 really does is tie two plugs to one point on the distributor, so the =20 spark pulse on a cylinder's exhaust stroke is the same as on another =20 cylinder's compression stroke, and hence it does not affect the number =20 of pulses seen at the ignition coil.
