Spent ~30 months on the ground in Asia in the early '70s,
with one occasion of intestinal distress, courtesy the Officer's
Club at Korat RTAFB.

I was cautious about street vendors & tap/ground water; other-
wise "Eat where the locals eat" seemed to work...

I suspect it's true one's system adapts, given the chance...
