actually if was coax, there is no field at all from "proper" currents,=20
but it would act as a common mode choke for common mode signals.

In BBC they had a thing that looked like a 10kW mains transformer. It=20
was wound with RG59 75 ohm coax or similar and acted as a mains hum=20
common mode filter to stop "earth loops". The only effect on the video=20
was the simple length of cable used.
