USB3.0 is a bit pointless, as USB2.0 is fine for all except fastest=20 Storage and USB3.0 is pointless for anything other than very very fast=20 storage. FCoE, eSATA and other storage interfaces though is a better=20 idea than USB3.0 So USB30 isn't going to replace USB 2.0 various Professional applications will use Thunderbolt instead of Firewire. 1G Ethernet, 10G fibre, FCoE and others for other applicatons.
