ISIS is a stock database designed for managing a stock of electronic=20 components in an office, laboratory or warehouse. It is optimised around=20 adding new component types at the same time as adding stock since this=20 tends to be a common activity in such situations. It is written in PHP=20 5.x using the nanoMVC framework=20 which was purpose-built for ISIS. The project was started by Phillip=20 Pemberton but was mostly developed by myself. I have been using it=20 myself for some time now.=20 We have just gone public with it (releasing it under GPLv2+) and are=20 looking for testers and preferablly developers. The software is=20 currently in a usable state but some features are not yet implemented=20 and there are no unit tests. Lack of unit tests is a particular problem=20 for a php app because in php many errors that would show up at compile=20 time in a more conventional language do not show up into runtime and=20 someone who could contribute a set would be MUCH appreciated. http://isis.philpem.me.uk/ If you want to discuss aspects of ISIS with me in a more immediate form=20 than email I can be reached by instant messenger.
