Hi Harold, I had reason to go looking for a PIC with a DAC recently and found that some of the DSPIC series do indeed have DACs. They are a bit hidden as their main purpose seems to be as a reference for the onboard comparators, but they can be output to external pins, and they have very respectable update rate and other specs.
